Also please do not empty the soil and rocks from urns into the trash cans located at the end of the cemetery drives, they are for lite domestic trash only. If you brought memorial items to the cemetery, please take them with you. Remember NO items are permitted off the headstone pads during the summer mowing months (April 1st to November 1st). Neither Newton Township or our Cemetary lawncare crew are responsible for items out in the grass that may be damaged by the mowers or Comida Mexicana Food Truck will be at Newton Township Hall, Monday, May 20, 4-7 p.m. The community is invited. Bring your lawn chairs so you can stay and eat and visit with old friends and new. (Food will not be allowed inside the hall.) Sponsored by the Lee Lake Association. New Hall Rental Procedure To rent or view the hall for a potential rental you must either meet Mary Aldrich on Tuesday or Thursday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm or Mary Irving on Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the township hall. You may also call and leave a message on the township answering machine at 269-979-3212. Lastly you can check to see if your date is available be clicking the (Residents) tab on the home page and then click Hall rental calendar from the dropdown list.
